The Devils found themselves down by two runs in the top of the seventh when Adam Gregg strode to the plate to face Bruce Geislinger.

Bruce, in the past, was drafted by the Devils as they made deep runs in the State tournament. With two outs in the final inning of the game and not much to lose, Adam calls his shot by pointing to center field. On the first offering from Bruce, Adam crushes a ball to deep left center that easily clears the fence. Bruce would have the final revenge as he hit KC Johnson with the next pitch and then went on to win the game 3-2.
