It was a tough day in the field for the Devils as they committed nine errors in the game.

The Devils fell behind early giving up five runs in the first two innings while committing five errors. The Lakers scored the eleven runs of the game before the Devils managed to score two runs in the bottom half of the sixth inning. Adam Gregg led off the sixth with a single past the shortstop. KC Johnson doubled to left putting runners at third and second. Lee Gregg drove in the first run with a ground ball to short. Erik Peterson singled to right to score KC to end the scoring.
