The Diamond Devils were down by a run going into the seventh inning. The Devils would send thirteen batters to the plate scoring nine runs on eight hits.

KC Johnson started off the inning with a single to left. Lee Gregg drove in KC on a triple to center field. Pat McPherson scored Lee with a double down the right field line. Kyle Tengesdul singled past the short stop. Andrew Miller loaded the bases when he walked. Matt Helling was hit by a pitch to pick up an RBI. Andrew Pratt walked to score another run. Elk River finally recorded an out when the shortstop gunned down a runner at the plate on a ground ball hit to short. Adam Gregg doubled to left scoring three runs. KC Johnson followed with another double to left to score Adam. Two more singles would finish the scoring and the nine run inning.

Elk River scored four more runs over the next three innings, but it was not enough as the Devils took the game 14-10.
