The Devils have not hit a home run this year and the wind kept it that way.

The Devils were trailing the Villains 5-2 in the seventh inning when Adam Gregg was at the plate. Adam crushed the first pitch offered. However, with a stiff breeze coming out of center field, all the center fielder had to do was turn around a couple times and get back to the fence to catch the ball as the wind took away the Devils first home run of the season.

The Devils had a chance to take the lead in the ninth. With one out, Tom Fisk was able to reach first courtesy of an error at short. Adam Gregg walked and another error at short allowed a run to score. Lee Gregg singled to get the Devils to within one run. However, a double play in the next at bat ended the Devils hopes.
