Paul Kunz, TJ Aalid and Judson McKown combined gave up four hits as the Diamond Devils beat the Rogers Red Devils 8-1.

Paul Kunz pitched the first seven innings, giving up one run in the second inning on a walk, and two singles to center. After that the Red Devils could only manage to get three more runners into scoring position. TJ and Judson pitched the final two innings allowing one base runner.

The Devils were down a run after the second but scored the next eight runs starting in the third inning. Billy Soule led off the inning with a single to left, stole second base and then scored on a Andrew Pratt single to right.

The Devils scored the winning run in the next inning. Tom Fisk started the inning off with a double to center. After an out, an error at short in TJ Aalid's at bat allowed the winning run to score. Jeff Ptizenberger walked in his time at bat giving the Devils runners at second and first. The second out occurred on a fly ball to center before Andrew Pratt's single to left scored the next run. Andrew moved up to second on the throw to home. Adam Gregg plated the final two runs of the inning on a double hit to left field.

The Devils added another run in the sixth inning. With one out, Billy Soule tripled on a ball hit to center field. After a ground out to the pitcher, Adam Gregg drove in Billy with a ball hit past the shortstop.

The Devils scored the final two runs in the eighth inning. Billy Soule led off the inning with a single to right field and then stole second. After a fly ball to center, Adam Gregg doubled to right scoring Billy. A wild pitch moved Adam to third before Tom Fisk singled to left scoring Adam.
