Together the Devils and Larks scored eleven runs in the sixth inning however, the Devils only scored four of them.
 
The game started out in the Devils favor as KC Johnson blasted a homerun in the first inning. Adam Gregg walked, took second on a wild pitch and scored on Lee Gregg's first of five hits in the game.
 
The Larks cut the lead in half as the Devils committed two errors in the field.
 
The Diamond Devils added another run in the second inning. Craig Hawkinson doubled off the left center field fence. After two outs, KC Johnson and Tom Fisk walked to load the bases. The Devils received some help as Craig scored on a wild pitch.
 
The Devils added another run in the third. Lee Gregg walked in his time at the plate to start off the inning. Pat McPherson laid down a bunt to move Lee into scoring position. TJ Aalid moved Lee to third on a ground ball to first. Craig Hawkinson scored the run with a base hit up the middle.
 
The Larks scored their second run on a walk to Brandon Scanlon who then stole second and scored on a base hit that just got past the Devils' shortstop.
 
The Larks scored another run in the fourth when Tyler Maher doubled to center field and then eventually scored on another Diamond Devil error.
 
In the fifth inning the Devils scored another run to put the score at 5-3. Adam Gregg led off the inning with a double to left center. Lee Gregg singled to left to put runners at the corners. Pat McPherson scored Adam with a ground ball to second.
 
The Larks tied the game in the bottom half of the fifth. With one out, Kent Koch singled and then stole second. Eric Schutte struck out before Reed Pewalk singled to score Kent. Tyler Maher's triple to center scored the big man from first.
 
KC Johnson The Devils regained the lead scoring four runs in the sixth. KC Johnson started off the inning with a single to left. Tom Fisk walked and then both runners would move up a base on a wild pitch. The first run of the inning would come across the plate on another wild pitch. With having seen two wild pitches, Adam Gregg walked to put runners at first and third. Lee Gregg’s double into left scored Tom. Pat McPherson's single to right scored Adam. TJ Aalid drove in Lee on a ground ball to second.
 
The Larks piled it on in the bottom half of the inning scoring seven runs. The first batter was hit by a pitch. Ben Scanlon grounded into a fielder’s choice at short. A walk and double by Brandon Scanlon to left scored the first run. Kent Koch scored two runs in an infield hit. The ball was fielded by the first baseman but the pitcher was a little late getting over to first and tried to beat Kent by driving to first. With seeing the pitcher diving on the base, Brandon scored easily. The remaining runs were scored on three straight singles, another Devils error and a sacrifice to right field. Lee Gregg
 
The Larks score the final run in the eighth on a single to left, a walk, a double steal and an infield ground ball.
 
The Diamond Devils scored their final two runs of the game in the ninth. Adam Gregg ripped a ball past the third baseman. Lee Gregg hammered a pitch into the softball fields for a two run homerun.
