For the second time within a week, the Diamond Devils defeat a prior year draftee from Rogers, this time it was Josh Vidor.

The Diamond Devils' Pat McPherson faced off against Rogers' Josh Vidor with both pitchers performing well. Pat had a perfect game going into the fourth inning and with his pin point control had shut down the Red Devils on sixty-nine pitches through six innings. Pat won the game pitching seven innings giving up two earned runs. Josh pitched well enough but he did not get the same level of defense that the Diamond Devils gave Pat. Josh was tagged with the loss giving up five runs However, only two were earned over six innings.

After Josh left the game the Diamond Devils took it to the Red Devils pitchers. With a 5-2 lead, the Diamond Devils scored two runs. KC Johnson started off the inning with a base hit to right. Lee Gregg walked in his time at the plate. Andrew Miller loaded the bases on a single to left field. After a strike out, Craig Hawkinson drove in the runs with a base hit.

The Devils put the game away after scoring six runs in the top of the eighth. Ryan Dwyer started off the inning with a base hit to left. Trent Holmquist followed with a single to right center. After a fly out to short, Lee Gregg drove in Ryan on a line drive that ended up in left field. Barry McCabe and Jeff Pitzenberger walked to score another run. Craig Hawkinson scored another run on a ground ball out to second base. Dan Boisclair was hit by a pitch to load the bases again. Billy Soule cleared the bases with a double to deep right center to end the scoring for the game and putting the Devils up by eleven.
