The worst thing for a Diamond Devil's pitcher is to be the starter for the 10 AM game on Saturday in the Hinckley Tournament.

Pat McPherson had the honor of being the starting pitcher and threw a great game giving up one run on seven hits over seven innings. For most games that would be more than enough to win a game especially against a team with only two wins and fourteen losses on the year but this is Saturday morning and the offense struggled against a chest thumping excitable debutant pitcher from Shakopee. With only a few hours of sleep the hitters could only manage two anemic hits over seven innings.
