The Devils entered the game against the Loretto Larks a half game back in the standings. With a 6-4 victory over the Larks, the Devils find themselves in first place with 5 games remaining.
 
The Devils took the first lead of the game in the bottom of the third. With one out Dan Boisclair walked in his time at bat. Ryan Dwyer followed with a ground ball that travelled a total distance of five feet. The catcher was able to throw out Dan at second but the relay to first was not in time. Adam Gregg singled to left putting runners at first and second. KC Johnson shot a single to right with Ryan rounding third the right fielder gunned the ball home. The ball was on
time however Ryan slid to the outside of the plate avoiding the catcher's
tag.
 
Billy Soule The Larks had a good sixth inning taking the lead after scoring three runs. With one out, Brandon Scanlon walked and moved up to second on a Kent Koch single to left. The Larks pulled off a double steal and when the throw from the catcher going down to third rolled into left field Brandon easily. After a ground out to third, Joey Althoff hit a two run homerun into the pines in left field.
 
The Devils would not be outdone in the sixth as they scored three runs in the bottom half of the sixth inning. With two outs, Andrew Pratt singled to left. An error at second base in Andrew Miller's at bat put runners at first and second setting the stage for Dan Boisclair
as he jumped all over the first pitch clearing the bases with a three run
homerun over the left field fence.
 
Game Winning Home Run The Larks tied the game at four scoring a run in the top of the seventh. With one out, Nathan Maher walked and moved up to third on a Brandon Scanlon bloop base hit into right field. In the next at bat Brandon broke for second base and with the throw going down to second Nathan stole home for the Larks final run of the game.
 
The Devils scored the final two runs of the game in the bottom of the eighth. With one out, Dan Boisclair walked. Billy Soule collected the game winning hit when he crushed a two run homer that landed in the middle of the street beyond the right field fence.
