The Diamond Devils lose another Wednesday night game, this time to the much improved Kingston Kings 3-2.

Once again CJ Goodwald puts the Devils in a great position to win the game, but the Devil’s offense cannot come through with the hits to win the game. The hitters stranded seven runners with six in scoring position.

A strange game all the way around. Kingston tried to give the game away but the Devils could not capitalize on the Kings’ errors. The game even ended on a strange play. The Devils had runners on first and second with one out when the batter struck out and on the play the runner at first was caught off the base resulting in a rundown to end the game.
