Adam Gregg shut down the Albertville Villains, facing just five over the minimum. In fact without the help of a wild pitch, the Villains would have been shutout.

After the Villains had scored their only run of the game in the fourth inning, Adam went on to retire the next fifteen of the next seventeen batters to earn his third win of the season.

The Devils scored the winning run in the second inning. With one out, the bottom half of the order would rattle off four straight hits on their way to scoring three runs. Andrew Pratt, Ryan Dwyer, Craig Hawkinson and Dan Boisclair singled with Dan driving in Ryan and Craig for the game winning hit.

The Diamond Devils added to the lead in the fifth when Brandon Schliinz went down and drove a pitch over the right field fence for a solo homerun.

The hitters added two more runs in the sixth inning. With two outs, Matt Goodwald reached first on an error by the shortstop. On the next pitch, Matt stole second and moved up to third when the throw from the catcher went into center field. KC Johnson singled in Matt on the next pitch. KC scored the final run of the game when Adam Gregg doubled in his at bat.
