This game was dominated by the pitchers as the Devil’s Adam Gregg and Sobieski’s Nate Olsen went toe to toe for nine innings in this seven inning tournament game. Adam and Nate were in total control of the game. Adam gave up one walk but no back-to-back hits. Nate gave up one back-to-back single but no walks.

The Devils won it in the bottom of the tenth. Mike Hokanson led off the Devil’s half of the inning with a hit. Andrew Pratt ran for Mike but was thrown out at second in Ryan Dywer’s at bat. Ryan stole second base a few pitches later and would come around to score on Dan Boisclair’s hit that hopped past the leftfielder.

CJ Goodwald earned the victory pitching the top of the tenth, after Adam did all of the heavy lifting.
