Both the Diamond Devils and the Milroy Yankees are two evenly matched teams, with the Yankees coming out on top in a twelve inning 4-3 victory.

Both teams had many chances to win this game as each of them left 16 runners on base, with the Devils leaving ten of them in scoring position. To add insult to injury, the Devils had bases loaded with one out in the top of the eleventh inning but failed to score as two Devil hitters went down looking at strike three.

CJ Goodwald At the plate, Matt Goodwald, KC Johnson, Brad Mazer and Brandon Schlitz had multiple hits in the game, with Brad hitting two doubles and KC hitting one.

The Devils pitchers threw well against a good hitting Milroy team. CJ Goodwald started the game and gave up two runs over five innings. Adam Koch pitched the sixth, seventh and eighth innings giving up one run. Paul Kunz pitched the rest of the game giving up the final run of the game in the bottom of the twelfth. Paul Kunz
