Andrew Engebretson hit a game winning homerun in the bottom of the fourth to pace the Diamond Devils in an 11-1 victory.

After the Diamond Devils fell behind by a run in the top of the fourth, Andrew put the Devils ahead for good with a two run homer to left field. The Devils would have to wait until the sixth inning before scoring again. Andrew led off the inning with a single. Ryan Dwyer came just short of a homerun with a fly ball caught at the base of the fence in left field. Pat McPherson followed with a single to move Andrew to second base. Craig Hawkinson hit a single to score Andrew from second. Two batters later, Andrew Pratt singled to score Pat from second base.

The seventh inning is where the Devils did most of the damage. The Devils sent nine batters to the plate, scoring six runs on six hits. The big hit came from Craig Hawkinson who hit a two run triple to deep right center.

The game ended in the eighth inning when Matt Goodwald scored the eleventh run on a hit from Andrew Engebretson to put the Devils up by ten runs.

CJ Goodwald earned his second victory in his second start. He pitched eight good innings, giving up one earned run on eight hits; two walks and three strike outs on 106 pitches.
