It was a close game until a pair to of two run home runs by Lee Gregg and Andrew Engebretson put the game out of reach.

With a late start because of an accident on I94 the Devils wasted no time by scoring two runs in the top of the first inning. With one out, John Hilbelink walked. One out later, Andrew Engebretson singled to put runners at first and second. Lee Gregg scored both runners on a double.

The Red Devils countered with a run in their half of the inning on an error, stolen base and a base hit.

The Diamond Devils scored another run in the second inning. With one out Kyle Tengesdul walked and then moved up to second on a balk. Andrew Pratt scored Kyle on a base hit to end the scoring.

The Red Devils scored an unearned run in the fifth inning on a base hit an error and another base hit.

The Diamond Devils scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning. With two outs, Kyle Tengesdul singled and proceeded to steal second base. Ryan Dwyer scored Kyle on a base hit. Ryan scored the final run of the inning when Andrew Pratt singled.

The Red Devils scored their final run of the game in the bottom of the seventh on a base hit, a walk and an error.

The Diamond Devils put two more runs on the board in the eighth inning. Andrew Engebretson led off the inning with a single to left field. Lee Gregg hit his fifth NSL home run of the season ending the scoring for the inning.

The Diamond Devils scored the final two runs in the ninth inning. Andrew Pratt led off the inning with a double to left center. Andrew stole third base but walked home as Andrew Engebretson hit his NSL wood bat record breaking eighth home run of the season.

Brandon Schliinz earned the victory pitching five innings on 71 pitches giving up two unearned runs. Pat McPherson pitched one and two third innings giving up one unearned run. Adam Gregg finished the game picking up the save.
