The Diamond Devils could not get anything going against Brooklyn Park.

Due to injuries, Lee Gregg and John Hilbelink were forced to the bench. Lee had gone seven for eight on the weekend and John with his .465 on base percentage were two big reasons the Devils could not score a run.

The best chances for scoring came in the second and fifth innings. In the second inning, the Devils had runners at second and third with one out, the Devils could not push a run across as the final two at bats resulted in a ground out to the pitcher and a fly ball to the third baseman.

In the fifth the Devils had bases loaded with two outs but a ground ball to the third baseman ended the scoring threat.
