Adam Gregg and Pat McPherson combine for a six hit shutout.

Adam Gregg kept the River Bandits off balance all night scattering six hits over eight innings. Pat McPherson earned the first save of the year for the Devils while completing the ninth inning.

The Diamond Devils scored all the runs they would need in the first inning. With one out, Luke Hagen singled off of the third baseman. Adam Gregg followed with a base hit to left center. After a strikeout, Lee Gregg walked to load the bases. Tom Fisk earned the game winning hit on a single to center scoring two runs.

The Devils score the final run of the game in the fifth inning. Matt Jakubov led off the inning with a single to center. After a strike out, Luke Hagen one hopped the fence in right to score Matt easily.
