The Minneapolis Lakers had a 3-1 lead going into the bottom of the seventh inning but could not shut down the Diamond Devils.

The Lakers took the first lead of the game in the first inning scoring a run on a double and a single. The Devils tied the game in the bottom of the first on a double by Billy Soule and a KC Johnson base hit.

The Lakers scored their second run of the game in the third inning with two outs on a walk, a double and with an error in left field as the ball bounced past the left fielder.

The Lakers extended their lead in the fourth inning on a home run that barely made it over the fence in left field.

The Devils waited until the last scheduled inning to tie up the game. Ryan Dwyer led off the inning with a walk. KC Johnson singled to left putting runners at first and second. Pat McPherson's ground ball to second forced KC at second but left the Devils with runners at the corners. Trent Holmquist scored Ryan on a ground ball out to third. Andrew Miller scored Pat from second on a base hit to left center.

With the scored tied the game went on for two extra inning but with this being a non-league and with daylight waning the teams were forced to kiss their sisters.
